True bespoke means we draft a unique paper pattern from your individual measurements and posture, then build the garment on a floating canvas with hand-padded lapels. Made-to-measure simply grades an existing block closer to your size. Every Lanwin Tailor commission is fully bespoke, and your personal pattern is archived for future orders.

Plan for six to eight weeks from the first consultation in our Petaling Jaya lounge through to final delivery. That includes pattern drafting, fabric sourcing from mills like Scabal or Holland & Sherry, hand-cutting, and two to three basted fittings. If you are commissioning for a wedding or important occasion, we recommend reaching out at least ten weeks ahead.

Your first visit is a relaxed 30-minute conversation in our private fitting lounge. We discuss the occasion, your lifestyle in the Klang Valley, and the silhouette you are after. We drape a few fabrics, take preliminary measurements, and show you swatch books. There is no pressure to commit, and tea or coffee is always on the house.

Standard alterations on a suit or shirt take about seven to ten working days. If you need something urgently, ask about our same-day and express options when you drop the garment off. We will confirm a firm collection date before any work begins.

Wedding commissions are a large part of what we do, especially for ceremonies around Bandar Utama, SS2, and the Klang Valley's heritage venues. We coordinate the groom's suit, groomsmen, and the father-of-the-bride so everything reads as one considered look. Please plan at least four to six months ahead of the big day.
